Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and I had an absolutely wonderful day. We started with a bit of a lie in and my presents from Pete, along with a cup of tea, in bed. He bought me some wonderful things including, three Martha Stewart punches, an EK Success punch, Liquid Pearls, chipboard, fine work scissors, pinking shears, a necklace, ink pads, new iPod earphones, Robbie Williams CD and some new GHD's. Woohoo, how about that lot.  Once downstairs, the girls appeared with a beautiful long grey marl jumper from Bay which is scrummy and warm.  Ant and Chaz's present had arrived through the post so I opened that next and found Coco Chanel Mademoiselle Body Moisturiser mist and soap - yummy, and then from Jackie I had a lovely scarf, necklace, bracelet with matching earrings.  Mom, Sue, Jade and Amber arrived for breakfast, surprising me with further presents of a Long Cardigan and Sleeveless over jumper.  Pete cooked a delicious full English for the adults whilst the girls had bagels. Phew, what a start to the day.  Once everyone had gone and we'd chance to ready ourselves we drove into Birmingham to go to the German Christmas Market.  We proceeded to spend the rest of the day wandering around happily, including a trip into the Bullring and coffee in a very depleted Borders - so sad to see. Back towards the car we decided to try a Japanese Restaurant.  Pete and I had a lovely meal but the girls weren't too impressed unfortunately.  Back home in time for X Factor The Results show followed by Batman Begins and then to bed. A truly wonderful day.
