HS:MS Show Off Sunday

Today's prompt allows for the posting of any photo that we are particularly pleased with. I have quite a few favourites and it's good to have an excuse for posting them. So mine for today is a shot taken in the Lake District one winter's morning. It dates back to December 2004 and was taken at Conniston Water. It's probably not technically correct with the flare and all but I love it - No re touching except for the addeded frame. It was one of those wonderful clear, crisp winter days and just looking at this shot reminds me of the freshness of that day. We do have a poster size print mounted and hung in the dining room and I've not yet tired of it.

I'm trying to work my way through everyones shots posted for this one but it seems to be taking me forever, I think I start to read more (where they are blogs) and suddenly time has flown by ;-)

Hi Wendy :)

This is fabulous. I'm not surprised you have it as a poster you never tire of.

I try to get round everyone once a week. Then I always try to get back to those who leave me a comment. I don't neccessarily do it in one day though :) Obviously I have my "favourites" like Olivia who is eleven . . . I always try to visit her.

I know what you mean about reading the blogging though . . . some of that will be due to you just starting and so reading whos who, so to speak :)

I am off for three days so won't be doing the prompts AND I doubt I'll play catch up instead simply start with thursday's prompt.

LOL limp/red carnation . . . now that is something I can't match!!

Take care and we can speak again soon.
